OVERVIEW

Cliff sensors are generally 4 or 6 (2 or 3 on each side, respectively) sensors located on the bottom of the robot, in its front.

Their role is mainly to identify stairs and carpets in your home.

Compatibility: The compatibility of these sensors are for Roborock S4 model only.

Please do not confuse with the S4 Max model, these sensors are not compatible with it.

The video below demonstrates (among other things) periodic cleaning of these sensors.

Note: Such procedures (replacing internal parts) are supposed to be performed by licensed technicians, laboratories, or at least individuals with a background in the field.
